What is Sajuman?

Have you ever wondered what your favourite K-pop idol's Saju looks like? Or what the stars say about your own destiny? Saju (四柱, "four pillars") — also known as Korean four pillars of destiny — is a traditional East Asian system of astrology that reads a person's fate from the four "pillars" of their birth: year, month, day and hour. Each pillar is expressed as a pair of characters from the Heavenly Stems (천간, Cheon-gan) and Earthly Branches (지지, Jiji), giving you eight characters in total — your Pallja (八字).

Sajuman is a free online service that turns your birth date and time into a full Saju reading — no account, no payment, no app needed. Just enter your birth date and discover your chart.

We explain every term in plain language. You don't need to know what "Gapja (甲子) day" or "Sikshin (食神) star" means — Sajuman will tell you right next to each term.

Your "Aura" — the signature artifact

At the end of every Saju reading, Sajuman generates your personal Aura. "Aura" is short for "the light of the five elements" — a visual pattern unique to your exact birth data, shaped by the proportions of Wood (木), Fire (火), Earth (土), Metal (金) and Water (水) in your chart.

Even two people born on the same day will have different Auras if their birth hour differs. That's what makes it truly yours. You can save it as an image and share it — great for group chats, fan communities or just as a cool profile picture.

How does the reading work?

The reading happens in two steps:

Step 1 — Your birth date and time are converted into the Saju eight characters using a verified lunisolar calendar engine (lunar-javascript 1.7.7), which accurately calculates Heavenly Stems, Earthly Branches and solar term boundaries.

Step 2 — Pre-written, human-reviewed interpretation modules are assembled to fit your specific chart. Sajuman makes zero AI calls per visitor. The result you receive is consistent, grounded in traditional Korean astrology, and free from AI-generated improvisation.

Privacy and data handling

Sajuman has no database. Your birth date is never stored on our servers. The result is encoded entirely in the URL token — delete the URL and there is nothing left. We collect only anonymous visit statistics (visitor counts, page views) that cannot identify you personally. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
